ACT and Other Test Prep

Attention: There are now two options for test prep!

1) Method Test Prep is a program paid for by Limon Public Schools to help prepare students for the ACT test. The information to get set up is located below.

2) I was contacted by John J. Zimmerman, a US Army Reserve Recruiter. He informed me of another Test Prep program offered completely free by the US Army. This program, called March2Success, not only will help students prepare for the ACT test, it also preps for the SAT and ASVAB. We have not fully evaluated this program, but it looks very good. The link to their web site is www.march2success.com. I encourage students to utilize these services to properly prepare for testing.

Method Test Prep Software activation:

Limon High School has provided it's students with access to Method Test Prep, an online course that helps students build their math, reading, writing, and ACT test prep skills.  By visiting the following new link:

A referral code is required to create your account.  For a code, please contact me at charmart@limonbadgers.com or 719-775-2350 Ext. 377, or call the high school office. Please note that the referral code has changed from last year.

Using the link and referral code above your child can set up his or her own account and the course will keep track of all the work he or she has completed.

Students can listen to math, verbal and writing tutorials and each tutorial is accompanied by a quiz to test student mastery.  The program is highly adaptive and keeps track of a student’s strengths and weaknesses.  Students have access to a large pool of practice questions and receive instant feedback upon completion of each question.  This feedback includes easy-to-understand explanations.

Students and parents have seen measurable progress when using Method Test Prep.  Method Test Prep uses proven strategies that are clear and easy to understand for any type of learner.  Method Test Prep is interactive and time efficient.  By using internet technology, students are more engaged and their time is focused on areas in need of improvement. 

Method Test Prep is a good fit for any type of student.  The web site can be accessed at any time of day or night most convenient to the student.  Method Test Prep is designed to be used independently or as a supplement to other SAT or ACT prep.
