Job Description:
Limon School District RE-4J is accepting applications for a High School Principal/Transportation Director opening. This position will provide our high school with leadership in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This instructional leader will also model a positive approach to discipline. Additional responsibilities will include Transportation Director as well as collaboration with teaching staff and other administrators in K-12 curriculum development and K-12 teacher professional development.
Qualifications:
- Hold or be working toward a Colorado Principal’s License
- Three years or more of successful teaching and/or instructional leadership experience
- Sound leadership skills, strong management skills, and conflict management skills
- Strong relationship skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of student discipline policies, protocols, and best practices
- Knowledge of Colorado Department of Education school transportation policies, protocols, and best practices
Reports to:
The High School Principal/Transportation Director reports to the Superintendent.
Compensation:
Salary: $60,000 minimum
