Congratulations to all of the Cadet Band members, Senior Band
members, and the LHS Choir students for all your hard work and great shows
for the Homecoming festivities. You
all add so much to the bonfire, the parade, the game, and the banquet.
We’re very proud of you!
Mrs. McCallum sent a note home on Monday, 10/6, asking for a parent
to volunteer to organize student and parent workers for the upcoming PTSO
Halloween Carnival on Saturday night, October 25.
If you didn’t get the note and can help, please call her
immediately to volunteer!
The Eastern Colorado Honor
Choir Festival will be Monday, November 3 in Bennett all day followed by a
concert that evening. Parents
of those students: Mark your
calendars! Students will need
their concert clothes by then: white
shirts/blouses, black dress slacks, black socks/hose, and black dress
shoes. More information should
be coming out very soon.
Fourth Grade students need to get into the habit of bringing their
recorders and music books to school in their backpacks every day.
We’re off and running with a great start!!
Plans are in the works to take the 5th grade classes to
hear the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in Denver, hopefully on November
13th. Stay “tuned” for
more info later!
