You may notice that our School Supply List is considerably shorter than usual.  Lincoln County Department of Social Services, with approval from the Lincoln County Commissioners, started a new project a couple of years ago called Project School Supply.  They believe that it is important for children to stay in school and they feel by providing the basic supplies it can help benefit their success in school.  They also know that we are in hard economic times right now and they hope that this project will provide some relief for families this school year.  They have received a grant that makes it possible for them to purchase the majority of school supplies that parents were responsible to buy for the 2011-2012 school year.  This will benefit all of Lincoln County Schools.

***Please look over the items listed below that are being provided to you.  You may want to purchase more of some items.***

Middle School Students

Items already provided:
12 Blue pens                                                                        6 – 3 ring binders
12 Black Pens                                                          2 hi-liters
12 Red Pens                                                             2 glue sticks
12 Pencils                                                                 2 sets of colored pencils
2 Block Erasers                                                       1 set of markers
1 package of loose leaf notebook paper              2 composition notebooks
3 packages of 3x5 ruled index cards                   1 ruler
6 – 2 pocket folders                                                 1 pencil pouch for binder
6 – 1 subject college ruled notebooks

Will/May Need:
Protractor
Trapper-Keeper (if you choose not to use the 6 – 3 ring binders provided to you)
Flash Drive (This is not required, but may be useful for technology class and research papers.)

High School Students

LIMON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
LIST OF SUPPLIES
2011-2012

KINDERGARTEN

2  boxes of 8 basic crayons (NO scented, glittered, fluorescent, ect.)
2  four-ounce bottles of white Elmer’s Glue (NO colored glue)
6 glue sticks
1  plastic pencil box
1  box of Kleenex
2  trays of 8 watercolors
2  rolls of paper towels
2 box of Wet Wipes (not Clorox)
2 dry erase markers
2 fat yellow highlighters
8 pack of colored pencils
1 backpack
1 2” three-ring binder (with side pockets)
At the beginning of each month please send a box or package of a snack food item to share with the class such as: crackers (saltine, graham, animal, gold fish), pretzels, fruit roll-ups, etc.
Please label each item with your child’s name.  We will keep the extra supplies in a drawer and distribute them as needed.

FIRST GRADE

FOURTH GRADE
